Dilek Ceran

My elder sister Dilek,  a real lover of Shakespeare and a real romantic, has graduated from English  Literature and Language of Selcuk University. She is always fond of children so she became an English teacher in a Private Elementary School. After working 9  years, she decided to get retired  last year and enjoy the life for other hobies.  However I had one more dream about my blog and I asked her if she could translate my writings to English. Of course it will not be easy to translate my long and complicated sentences directly to English. But I am sure she will overcome. I appreciate her effort.

My new tiny tany translator Merve is telling her story with these words; “I was born in a big, bright and crowded city that we called Istanbul. While I was in high school I started to interested in theatre. Eventually I graduated from Istanbul University, Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy/Dramatic Writing . After worked as an editor and writer in magazines and agencies finally I jumped into the world of books and began to translations. After I realized that my life become a boring routine I wanted to do something new. And I went to Lithuania as an EVS volunteer and stayed there for 10 months. I’ve traveled around Europe, as long as I travel I felt refreshed and kept writing. And I’m still writing, translating and travelling.”
